About Miss Weimer
Hello everyone! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year, it's going to be a wonderful year! I'd like to tell you a little bit more about myself. I grew up in Mayfield and graduated from Mayfield High School in 2008. I have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education as well as my Master of Education in Reading Specialization degree, and a K-12 Reading Endorsement all from Kent State University! Previously, I worked as a substitute within the Mayfield and Willoughyby-Eastlake School Districts and taught 1st-3rd grade reading intervention at Olmsted Falls. This is my first year teaching at Lindsey Elementary and I could not be any more excited!! First grade is an awesome grade level as children really start to blossom into independent readers and learners. When I'm not at school I really love to run and be active outdoors in any way, shape, or form. I am currently training for the Akron Marathon in September. I also enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and watching/playing with my brother's dog Clark. My favorite color is PINK and I love PIZZA! If I'm not out running a race on the weekends you can find me visiting Buffalo, NY. I cannot wait to get to know all of you this school year. It is going to be full of fun, learning, and a lot of memories. If you need anything please do not hesitate to contact me! |
